The Incubation Programs offered by DIIS are designed to support early-stage startups through a range of services tailored to their unique needs. These programs aim to guide startups from concept to commercialization.
Objectives:
Nurture early-stage startups by providing mentorship and infrastructure.
Facilitate access to funding through partnerships with investors and financial institutions.
Support the commercialization of innovative ideas and technologies.
Eligibility Criteria:
Startups must be based in Assam and in their early stages of development.
The startup should have an innovative product, service, or technology that has the potential for market impact.
Startups must meet the legal criteria for business registration.
Facilities Provided:
Mentorship: Access to experienced entrepreneurs, industry experts, and professionals to guide startups in business strategy, marketing, legal aspects, etc.
Funding: Opportunities to connect with angel investors, venture capitalists, and government-backed funding schemes.
Infrastructure: Co-working spaces, high-speed internet, meeting rooms, and other facilities to support business growth.
Workshops & Training: Regular training sessions and workshops on business management, product development, fundraising, and more.
How to Apply: Startups can apply for the incubation program through the Online Application Portal. Detailed instructions on how to apply, including required documents and eligibility criteria, are available on the portal.

2.Innovation


DIIS is committed to fostering a culture of innovation that addresses local challenges and drives technological progress. The department shall organize and support several initiatives to stimulate innovative thinking and solution-oriented approaches.

Through various innovation challenges, DIIS shall encourage startups and individuals to come up with creative solutions to pressing societal and environmental issues. These challenges offer cash prizes, incubation support, and networking opportunities for winners.
